Why the fuck are you so squishy? My mog options in cloth are seriously limited in comparison to my characters that wear mail or leather.

My hunter has over 280 chest armor options, while the priest has a measly 195. It’s more limiting than it sounds.

Hard to farm mog when you can barely level a character because you are bad and they make you sad when they are turned into pancakes.

I have found some success recently in playing a discipline priest. Healing and damage dealing in one! Throw more stars! Boom. Bubbles are your friend. Running old content is…¬† a bit of an exercise in frustration. Halo is a 100% necessary button, otherwise you spend approximately 10 years trying to Purge the Wicked out of everything following you. Like in the tunnel in Ahn’Qiraj. That was… fun. In a totally obnoxious way.

Another issue with me and clothies is, well, i don’t much like robes on the whole. There is a highly limited number of tops that aren’t robes and also meet my cloth wishes (and also ab wishes to be perfectly honest).

And until recently, the robes i liked most certainly didn’t have belts to match. I have to admit to a certain love of the robes from AQ. Super bright colors with bright gold accents is an A+. They are definitely just a, uh, bit skimpy, which is what made them so hard to work with before you could hide belts. Belts totally overran the delicate gold detailing. That was totally the reason.

Enough with the words, onto the pretty pictures!

(I lied about enough words)

I love super contrasting colors. A black hood over the classic white Tyrande dress? Makes me very happy.

  • Vengeful Gladiator’s Satin Hood
  • Vengeful Gladiator’s Satin Mantle
  • Mooncloth Robe
  • San’layn Ritualist Gloves
  • Hidden Belt
  • Nimbus Boots
  • Nibelung

I mostly mog over the discipline priest staff. The stained glass look of the basic and 2nd tier is pretty but largely uninspiring. Nibelung is possibly not the best match, but gosh it is pretty. Sparkly pink and blue, what more could one ask for.

The mask is admittedly more just entertaining than actually a match for the set, but still, i enjoy it. Facecage!

  • Primal Gladiator’s Cowl of Cruelty
  • Buccaneer’s Vest
  • Cruel Combatant’s Satin Gloves
  • Wild Combatant’s Cord of Cruelty
  • Ferocious Combatant’s Satin Leggings
  • Ferocious Combatant’s Satin Treads
  • Mage Tower challenge appearance, base

The mage tower staff appearance doesn’t really match the whole black leather leggings and pirate shirt, but i earned the damn thing and i am gonna use it. In all honesty the disc mage tower challenge isn’t terribly hard, though that impression probably comes from doing it at a 930ilvl. Being a healer makes the oh god interrupt that bit on the Tugar Bloodtotem fight much simpler than it was for a beast mastery hunter. Could still kill me, but i had more tools for mistakes.

The Rosethorn Staff, Matsuba’s Breadmaker or the Lupine Longstaff will likely be the weapons i use when i decide i want something that fits more, be it thematically or color.

I love simple black pants, as plenty of my hunter mogs have shone. There now being a pair for my priest is lovely.

To switch gears for a moment: Chimera!

I honestly adore the monk set from Tomb of Sargeras, or at least, i adore the helmet. Tiger tiger burning bright i really need your skull tonight.

The horns just make this helmet amazing. I’m sure i wouldn’t enjoy it half so much on my druid or rogue.

  • Shadow-Scarred Headcover (N)
  • Spaulders of Determined Resolve
  • Yngwie’s Vest
  • Warmongering Gladiator’s Gloves
  • Cord of Pilfered Rosaries (N)
  • Wildfeather Leggings
  • Treads of Violent Intrusion
  • Oronaar Miner’s Dredger

Horns, tiger face, feathers. 100% a chimera in the classical sense. I feel like i should maybe use more pieces that aren’t part of the monk set, but it as it should, it all works so well.

I have the green heroic helm as well, and a set. And KJ on Raid Finder finally loved me so i have the orange too. My demonhunter can be a chimera in 3 colors!

There is love to be had for my rogue as well, as during the Anniversary event I received a lovely item i didn’t even know existed.

The pink! or purple! or whatever color it is, i love it. I am usually stupendously jealous of a friend that has the title from Vanilla that is able to mog to the actual rogue PVP set, but this isn’t a terrible booby prize.

  • Glamorous Purple Mask
  • Spaulders of Dinomancy
  • Sapphire-Encrusted Tunic
  • Master Builder’s Shirt
  • Vicious Gladiator’s Leather Gloves
  • Vicious Gladiator’s Waistband of Cruelty
  • Stretchy Purple Pants
  • Vicious Gladiator’s Boots of Alacrity
  • Mage tower, 10 dungeon recolor

I used most of a set to go with the top because it is damn hard to work with. There is damn little in game in that color scheme. I am unsure of the shoulders, but they work, even if they are not my favorite model.

And back to the priest for a casual night on the town: a ring and things.

Matches my hair and everything!

  • Hidden Helm
  • Hidden Shoulders
  • Fur Covered Robe
  • Wristwraps of Arrogant Doom
  • Dominant Gladiator’s Stain Gloves
  • Xintor’s Expeditionary Boots
  • Blackhand Doomstaff (H)

Lovely shoulders. And collar bones.

And now, now the most lovely, full skirted robes, with bikini tops.

Ignore the dagger and book, turns out i haven’t collected a Pillar of Creation for the basic shadow appearance that would match.

  • Cruel Combatant’s Satin Hood
  • Azurelight Sage’s Mantle
  • Vestments of the Shifting Sands
  • Crescent Vale Wristwraps
  • Cruel Combatant’s Satin Gloves
  • Wanderer’s Stitched Trousers
  • Azurelight Sage’s Slippers

I actually want the shoulders from Seat of the Triumvirate instead but these are similar enough for it to not matter overly much.

It’s such a pretty color! And the stained glass look of Light’s Wrath matches very nicely.

  • Crown of the Fire Festival
  • Hidden Shoulders
  • Robes of the Guardian Spirit
  • Crescent Vale Wristwraps or Wild Gladiator’s Cuffs of Victory
  • Ferocious Combatant’s Satin Gloves
  • Hidden Belt
  • Wanderer’s Stitched Trousers
  • Azurelight Sage’s Slippers.

For the other dresses i haven’t gotten the shoulders I want yet. They can be shown off another day.

There are more things to share, but this is a good stopping point till the next time the color wheel bites me.
