Power Torrent is the best weapon enchant for classes using mana in Cataclysm. Too bad it is overwhelming bright and all but hides the smallest of weapons completely. Through lucky guesses and farming I have found some weapons that have with innate effects that negate Power Torrent and other enchants and runes.

Now I am going to list weapons that based on their appearance could defeat enchants, but that I have no means of testing right now. If any readers would like to toss a yay or a nay at any listed item or to give me the name of others I’ll update the post.

-A lot PvP weapons look as though they shouldn’t show enchants, but I am not sure:  Vicious, Merciless, Wrathful, and Cataclysmic.

-Weapons dropped by the Lich King on either difficulty look as though they could have inherent effects that skip over enchants. I do know that the polearm does not, but the others might negate enchants.
